Atticus Finch
Atticus is a man of few words. He is very wise and uncommon. I say this because not many lawyers, if any, would have taken on the Tom Robinson case. I have much respect for his character's decisions in the book. He has a very dry sense of humor, but does not ever come across rude. Atticus has the best interest for his children, Jem and Scout, but also for others. He has helped many people in their town legally. Atticus is widowed. He does a great job as a father. He is modest and does not want to be in the lime light. In short, Atticus does not care what others think, but cares for others deeply.
Physical Profile: Rather tall, dark hair going gray, wears glasses, very defined face(in the movie).
Personality Profile: Open-minded, extremely modest, and caring.

Qoutes and Symbolism
I chose this picture, even though it is really a qoute, because I feel like this quote really is what Atticus stands for. This means ultimately you have to do what pleases yourself for you to be able to please others. Atticus is still a little fluster and insure but he is also confident in his decisons, which is what this picture stands for.
"You never really understand a person until you consider things from his point of view - until you climb into his skin and walk around in it."
-Atticus said this to Scout. This qoute is deep, and he is telling her to be less judgemental until she truly understands what a person is going through, which she could never fully do.
"There's a lot of ugly things in this world, son. I wish I could keep 'em all away from you. That's never possible."
-Atticus said this to his children. This just shows how much of a great father Atticus is. It shows how he wants his kids to be safe. But it also shows he is realistic. Atticus knows that their will always be bad in the world, and there is nothing he can do about that.
"Best way to clear the air is to have it all out in the open."
-Atticus is saying this using an analogy comparing clear air to the truth. He is saying the only way to be clear is to tell the truth.
"It's not okay to hate anybody."
-Atticus does not believe in hatred. I respect him for that because hate leads to destruction and he realizes that.
"Before I can live with other folks I've got to live with myself. The one thing that doesn't abide by majority rule is a person's conscience."
-Atticus saying he has do what he thinks is right, not what others think, because ultimately it is his conscience he is living with. He is saying do what you believe is right.
